Verdun Summer Concert Series!

We are excited to announce the return of the Verdun Adventure Bound Summer Concert Series!

SUMMER CONCERT SERIES SCHEDULE

JULY 16: The Freshmakers
The Freshmakers are Tim Gardner, bass and vocals; Matt Warmus, drums; Brandon Shipe, lead guitar; and Jerry Hull, lead vocals and rhythm guitar. The Freshmakers play rock covers from the 2000s, 90s, and earlier.

AUGUST 6: Performance by State Climb Silks Performers and local singer-songwriter Daniel Carter
Youth aerial performers will suspend their bodies from flowing fabric and wrap and unwrap themselves in yards of silk as they defy gravity, and rely on balance and fluidity of movement. The performers will be using Verdun's high rope for this exciting performance choreographed to live music.

AUGUST 27: Chris Haddox
Chris Haddox's new self-titled album, released on March 25, 2022, has enjoyed airplay across the country, and has been a favorite of Kansas Public Radio (debuting at #3 and moving to #1 on their Top Ten folk album list), and reaching the #11 album spot on the Folk Alliance Top 50 Album chart--joining such company as Janis Ian, Keb Mo, Molly Tuttle, and Ray Wylie Hubbard.

AUGUST 28: The Nighthawks
The original "Bad Boys of Bethesda" have been making it happen since 1972. The Nighthawks was an idea in Mark Wenner's brain long before he was able to implement it. The musical product of pre-1958 radio in Washington, D.C., he did not know there were rules against mixing blues, R&B, honky-tonk country, doo-wop, gospel and rockabilly into one delicious stew. After 40 years, The Nighthawks are still having a Damn Good Time. And so will you.

Watch our Facebook page for concert events and any programming changes.

The Anne Marie Sheridan Amphitheatre is our local, intimate version of Wolf Trap’s Feline Center and offers both a visually and acoustically pleasant experience. Our primary mission is to provide an entertainment venue that features local performing artists in the tri-county area.

Bring a cooler or enjoy some delicious food and drinks from one of our onsite vendors! We recommend packing your lawn chairs as seating is limited, but with lawn seating, we can accommodate many!
